01 · The Goal
Capture intermediate-term momentum moves in gold and silver on the 4-hour timeframe — positions held for days to weeks, or as long as momentum lasts — with stop-losses placed correctly so the system doesn't get shaken out right before the move continues.
The strategy must make fundamental sense before any optimization.
Nothing goes live without backtesting across 10–20 years of data.
Proper stop placement and risk-reward discipline come first.
02 · Where This Comes From
This proposal is built directly on my June 11 conversation with Andreas. Here is a recap of what we covered, so everyone is on the same page:

A price-momentum system for gold and silver on the 4-hour timeframe: intermediate-term positions held for days to weeks, with room to ride a trend for as long as it keeps paying.

The rules below are simply the example framework from my June 11 call with Andreas, used here to demonstrate how any trading logic becomes visual, testable rules. The real strategy will be built from your trading rules: you bring the strategy, I make it precise, coded, and proven.

You bring the trading ideas, even rough ones. I translate them into precise, testable rules and contribute suggestions from proven momentum frameworks.
Deliverable: a written rule set covering entries, exits, stops, and trade management.

The approved rules become a TradingView strategy, backtested on up to 40,000 bars of history (10–20 years on the 4H timeframe). Tested on gold and silver, validated against S&P 500 constituents including recent down cycles. We iterate: refine, retest, compare.
Deliverable: full performance report — win rate, profit factor, max drawdown, equity curve, trade-by-trade list.
